The #AlphaDerby weekend is a fundraising event series centered around the style and pageantry of one of the most well-known horse races in the world, The Kentucky Derby.
Three Events. Three Vibes. Beginning with a “Kick-Off Social & Concert” on Friday, “The Kentucky Derby Watch Party” on Saturday and the popular “Sunday Jazz Brunch”, #Alpha Derby is the perfect Atlanta alternative to enjoy the Kentucky Derby – all for a good cause.
Eight chapters of Alpha Phi Alph Fraternity, Inc. from across the metro-Atlanta area all collaborate to host a first-class experience while benefitting local non-profit education foundations, a true party with a purpose.

Lock arm-and-arm with 2000 new friends and help us make history when the originators of the “Swag Surf” F.L.Y. grace the stage and perform their mega hit! Cap off the weekend of style, panache, and class with live jazz! Join us as we celebrate and toast to a great weekend with none other than jazz saxophonist Trey Daniels. Enjoy a full sit-down breakfast buffet complete with carving stations, desserts, attentive service, on site vendors, and more. Then, just as those free bottomless mimosas kick in, Pretty Tammi the DJ will take us from Jazz Brunch to “Trap Brunch”. The final party with a purpose. (2018 Attendance: 500)
